Summary: AU, Severitus Challenge response – When visions from the past come true, the time for truths has come, as well as the time for hope and life. But will the ones in the middle of this be able to find that hope, and want to live?

Author Notes: This is based on the challenge by Severitus, but is does not comply completely. The Challenge is: Snape is Harry’s father. I tried to give it a slight twist, but if by any means it looks similar to other stories it is not intentional. There are far too many going around, not only in, but other places as well to be completely original anymore; though the challenge to do that is there.

I have already typed around 55 letter sized pages for this story, which are around four chapters, perhaps a bit more. I’ll try to update weekly since this story has been bugging my writing time wanting to be ‘born’.

I am, as those who have been following my other stories probably noticed, a slow writer, and used to be even slower when I had to handwrite my ideas and then type them (can’t carry the desktop computer everywhere with me). I can only say that the invention of the tablet PC might make me write faster (I positively adore the thing, this whole story was written by hand on a tablet PC which converted my handwriting to a word document. NO MORE TYPING!:) ).

About my other stories, Unexpected Child is giving me one MAYOR migraine (past headache now) even though I have drafted a lot of the story I just can’t seem to get it to flow nicely, yet I’m still working on it. Apprentice‘s next chapter should be out really soon, just giving it the final touches before I send it to be betaed. The same happens to Second Chance (I had to do some corrections with the timeline). For those who have read my Inuyasha story Present Time, I’m still not giving up on finishing it one day, but I’ve been having one hell of a time to get the muse to go back to it.

Also on an OT note, I am looking for writers that want their stories (from all fandoms not just HP) posted in my website fanfic-zone, if you’re interested e-mail me. I accept all ratings and types. I have some of my favourites already posted there, but I still have to receive an answer to my request for permission. In this list you will find those fics that follow the Challenge issued by Severitus and that has become quite famous around the Harry Potter Fandom. You will also find those that are now called Sevitus. It was Jan-AQ who came up with the term for her sites, and it refers to stories that are based on the challenge from Severitus, but do not follow the guidelines, with the exception that Severus is or becomes Harry’s father.

This list is tagged as a work in progress, which means that I am still collecting stories for this. I have quite a list of them in my C2s, but I have not added them yet to Delicious. Should they be more than the 100 limit I have, I’ll be making a manual list. I’m also planning on refining the list to group the stories that are completed, those that are ongoing (WIPs), and those that are abandoned. That information is included in the tags

Author Notes: This is the first part of Letters, Truths and Hopes chapter 07. I had to cut it in half because it did not fit in one entry but I’ll be uploading both parts tonight.

I need some input about this, since I’m not happy with the last part of the chapter, after Lily finishes her letter. That part comes in the other post, and it’s Severus reactions. I think it’s too mild, so I’m going to try and see if I can do more with it. Anyway enjoy!

Summary: Severus goes home for the winter break and makes a terrible discovery outside his home. Muggles abandoned a small child to die in the snow. He is badly beaten and blind. He takes him in and heals him, not thinking that he would get to care deeply for the hurt and abused child.

This is only part of the Plot Bunny, I’m lacking how Severus came to have little Kaylen under his care, as soon as I finish typing that part I’ll add it.
