I also made my first attempt at an anime music video; I just finished it and would have it available through grokster, morpheous or Kazaa (It’s already available here, because I still have to upload it on the following places.) Streamload, http://www.animemusicvideos.org, and my own page. I only used footage from the 1^st and 2^nd. Eps. It’s kind of an introduction for Kagome of the Sengoku Jidai in Axel Rose’s voice (Guns N’ Roses Welcome to the Jungle) the song is old but I thought it fit just marvelously. Anyway it’s just a first attempt, and I’m already planning a few more. The name is: Inuyasha – GNR – Welcome to the Jungle(Short).avi

Author’s Note: From the start I believed this chapter was not really complete, I felt it needed more police interaction, and more background for the police characters. But I was not really inclined then to modify what I already had because it would probably change some things later on. Now though, with the rewrite, I have the opportunity to do since I’m already doing modifications to the story. I hope you like how this chapter turned out. I personally like it much better.

I did a bit of research on the web, and I found some information about ranks in Tokyo Metropolitan Police. But the information was not clear enough for me to use them, so I’m going to keep the system I originally used. It’s an Americanized version, and for that I apologize. I really would have loved to introduce into the story some actual facts of about the Japanese police system. It would have added some more realism.

The first was a Blue Seed one that for some reason Fanfiction.Net took down at about the same time that the first posting of Present Time was taken down too. I had then 336 reviews, so summed up with the ones that I have already on the second posting, I’m quite pleased to say that Present Time has over 1,100 reviews for that thanks to all the readers.

• I believe the capital or most important city of Japan during the Sengoku Jidai period was Kyoto, but I’m not really sure.
• I’m not really sure it’s actually 500 years that Kagome goes back, but using episode 8 as a reference when they speak of Oda Nabunaga (1534-1582) and they mention he’s around but has not become an important General yet. I think it’s fairly accurate to calculate those 500 years.
