Hi. I found you from the link in your FF.net profile. I hope you don’t mind, but I just have to ask. Are you ever going to finish ‘Present Time’? Because it’s such a great story, and I’m so sad that it hasn’t been updated in so long.

    ~*~Sara~*~

PS I’m going to add you if that’s all right. 🙂

Hi Sara, thanks for dropping a comment, and of course you can add me.

On Present Time, I really have it on hold for several reasons, one of which is that I don’t have access to the Inuyasha subs I have. I haven’t finished the series, and what the Cartoon Network was showing was discouraging since the translations were far from accurate (I get the spanish version of the channel and Kagome’s name was translated into Aome, to give you and example).
I still plan to finish Present Time although I have no idea when that will be. Hopefully in the near future I’ll be able to have a computer in which I can watch the subs again (that’s my main problem, the computer I have won’t display them no matter what) problems with the video card.
In the mean time I’m about to do some serious editing to what I already have posted of the story my writing has improved a bit since I started Present Time. I’ll probably post it here too just to have a record of it.

Aw, but what happened to the amazing and wonderful, I gotta-have-them stories of Appentice and Second Child and Lettters, Truths and Hopes?!?! I love them so much!! Don’t kill me! O.O lol.

No really, please please, please continue to work on them!!! You’ve barely started and they are FANTASTIC!

Glas to see you alive and well. This is an interesting tid bit. I’m curious as to where and how you will go with it. It does look like you are incorporating a bit from HBP into it which is usually a good call to make. Then again, I like your writing in general.

I’m in the middle of moving, yet again. I have been keeping track of the yahoogroup for updates. There has been a fair bit of unrelated discussion on that board. You may wish to drop a note there saying that yes you are alive, but busy doing other things at the moment. 😛 I came down like a ton of bricks on a guy who was intimating that something had happened to you.

I hope all is actually quite well for you and your family. How are the nephews? Have they earned some new belts in their tae quan do classes? How is your grandmother? and all that jazz.

    Hi Jan,

I haven’t been around to check my email lately, so I just found out you wrote me. I’ll respond to them later today, and sorry for that. I have a lot of backlogged trash to sort through to find the really important emails (I hate spam!). By the way the email I check more often is my yahoo account, the least is the hotmail one.

On to the the stories I think I will be posting the next chapter of ‘Second Chance’ and ‘Unexpected Child’ (took me long enough to get the muse back) soon. I just need to do some re-checking of what I have already typed because I really don’t know where to end it, and unfortunately I tend to write everything without dividing it into chapters.

I think my muse for ‘Apprentice’ is coming back, but I have to say that HBP has really caused me a lot of trouble with my writing 🙁 as it keeps popping up whenever I try to continue the stories, and what I had written is completely AU. That’s why I have been writing many other plot bunnies, some HBP compliant, to clear my mind and see if I can re-take what I had planned for the stories.

I’ll be taking a long time off, hopefully until next year, so I’ll be around more and can take care of the site (updating and doing backups), and the stories I have pending. I will be posting here many more of the plot bunnies, and I have at least a couple that I want to give up for adoption.

    Hi telos

So good to hear from you. I’m still alive, but RL has been rather odd and hectic this year. I’m not living in Mexico City anymore and that has thrown everything off kilter since I’m not sure how long I will be staying where I am, and most of my things are still in Mexico City. At least I finally got all my notes and story drafts last week, hopefully I can start writing back all that I have pending soon, and that includes ‘Present Time’.

I haven’t kept up with the yahoo group, but I will check on it and drop a line to tell everyone I’m still alive. Thanks for putting in a word there and setting order. I shamelessly abandoned the group and I shouldn’t have.

My mother and I are living at my grandmother’s house since we ‘moved’ to Tampico (my hometown). It’s not the same as being in your own home, but one was to make do with what is available. At least we can keep an eye on my grandmother and make sure she takes care of herself and does not overwork. She is a workaholic even if she is 80 years old 🙂 once a teacher, always a teacher until the day she dies.

My nephews are both black belts first Dan now, but have stopped taking lessons. Mike’s a teenager and social life has taken precedence and Chris wants to play Soccer now or Football. The one that keeps going is my sister. She is a black belt second Dan and is now teaching her own group of kids.

Now finally onto the story I started. It really came to me after reading another story on ff.net. The idea was really good, but it was so badly written that reading it was a torture. It is a shame really that it’s so badly writen, and I was tempted to offer to beta the story, I still might since I’m having some free time.

Anyway after I read the first five chapters I just couldn’t take the idea off my mind of evil Dumbledore and Slytherin in Gryffindor skin Harry. I added Fawkes to the mix, which is something the original story called Always Knew does not have. The basic idea is the same, and I know there are similar stories around, but I hope I can improve on this one and not be accused of plagiarism. Which is not since both stories are quite different even if the basic idea was originally the same.

This story will be my second attempt at Snarry slash, the first is called Bond (it is a WIP) and I have posted it here, I have it on friends only read, I can’t remember now if I have you added, but if not I’ll do so as soon as I finish with the reply.

I will, don’t worry. I’m already working on chapter two and it’s halfway done. Might upload a draft of it tonight, but I will probably do some changes to it later.

WOOT! Yes!!! MORE CHAPTERS!!! *_* Yay. Yes, please write. 🙂 hehe…

I know what you mean about HBP, it’s took the life out of the stories, but the trick is to just take a step back and remember how you felt before it. Just write the story the way it’s supposed to be. 😀 Cool about all your plot bunnies, I can’t wait to read everything.

Wow, you’re taking time off? I already update dthe archive and have been doing stuff with fixing the skins and checking efiction people for cures to the latest bugs. I’m so glad that you seem to be back for a little bit right now, even if it’s just to say hello. i’ve missed you. 🙂
