You should read this in order to understand a bit how I write my plot bunnies and the fics, since I’ve been told that my system is rather weird by some of the betas I’ve had previously.
The first step I do when I write is what I call the original draft. Sometimes it’s more like some type of telegram with blocks of ideas that I will later expand on, but more often than not the original draft is more story like. It is rarely less than a page long as I usually do write more and tend to get carried away. I usually stop when I reach a part where I can’t expand on, or I’m not happy about. Then come what I have called revisions, although it’s more like re-writes.
I usually take what I like from the original draft, and when I reach the point I did not like or was unhappy about then I start with the modifications for the story. I usually work by handwriting the ideas then when I can get myself to do it, I type them to the computer. To avoid having to write all that I liked from the original draft (I’m rather lazy, but I also have the trouble that I start changing things whenever I copy them), I simply add a note on the first page of the revision to indicate the page from the original draft where I’m starting and get to work on the story.
I do not work with chapters until I’m satisfied with the story, so once I decide that I’m going to post it I go over it and select where I will make the chapter cuts.
My way of writing posed a problem when I thought of posting in the blog, because some stories have many revisions, Apprentice for example has around 70, with at least four pages each, but usually much more than that. The number of revisions does not indicate the number of chapters a story will have, only that I have explored many possible ideas, or even corrected major mistakes in plot or other things.
To make it easier to follow I decided that I will include the original draft, subsequent revisions whenever I post a revision. I’ll be like re-writes of the story, but each independent so you don’t have to go back many posts to locate where I dropped off.

In this list you will find those fics that follow the Challenge issued by Severitus and that has become quite famous around the Harry Potter Fandom. You will also find those that are now called Sevitus. It was Jan-AQ who came up with the term for her sites, and it refers to stories that are based on the challenge from Severitus, but do not follow the guidelines, with the exception that Severus is or becomes Harry’s father.
This list is tagged as a work in progress, which means that I am still collecting stories for this. I have quite a list of them in my C2s, but I have not added them yet to Delicious. Should they be more than the 100 limit I have, I’ll be making a manual list. I’m also planning on refining the list to group the stories that are completed, those that are ongoing (WIPs), and those that are abandoned. That information is included in the tags

This list includes fics where Harry has been abused by one or all of the Dursley. The abuse goes from emotional, to physical and sexual. The list is divided in gen (stories where there is no slash, except in the case of non-con) and slash (where Harry goes to have a relationship with a male). The slash is usually Snarry as that is the pairing I prefer, but will eventually I’ll add more pairings.
The lists are limited to 100 entries at the moment due to Delicious limits. I don’t think either have reached 100 yet.

The linkrolls from Delicious seem to be working as a way to make thematic lists, so here is the next set.
In this Harry takes care of a child. It does not matter if the child is his, or if it is a de-aged character. Het, Slash, and Gen are included. Sometimes a story will be listed twice or even more. In this case it means the stories were posted in different sites, and it will give a better chance at locating it or reading it. The tags included hopefully will give a better incling of what the fic is about.
This Thematic List is by no means complete, so I’ll keep adding as I come accross fics that fit in the category.

Ok, the title says it all. this is now the slash list. Most are Snarry though since that is the slash pairing I prefer. The list is not complete, as Ihave yet to finish adding all that I have read through the years, but I’m working on it.
Note: I’m also not sure if I’m leaving these as posts or as pages. Although probably to make them easily located they will remain as posts. I’ll think about it and comment in Alandrem.net which is where I’ll write about subjects not fanfiction related.

This is just a test post to see how I can integrate my fanfiction bookmarks from Delicious into a post. If this works all right then this might end being the format for thematic lists in the blog.
Update: It seems to be working, now comes the hard part of making sure all the bookmarks I have for fics in Delicious are properly tagged. I’m also going to have to add quite a bit more fics that I’ve read, but have not yet added. I’m going to have to re-read more than a few of them, but frankly I don’t mind since I’ve been having trouble lately to find good stories to read.
